DWS Diving is a PADI International Resort and we are also proud to join the BSAC family as one of the only BSAC Resort Dive Center in Italy.

DWS is located in the beautiful town of Santa Margherita Liguria a few steps from the port where our comfortable Modulo M boat is docked and close to the hotels and restaurants that offer all our clients and their guests discounts.

​DWS are privileged to have a licence to dive with you in the protected Cape of Portofino Marine Park which is home to a dazzling array of marine life some of which are not found elsewhere in the Mediterranean. Expect to see vibrant red corals, moon fish, moray eels, tuna, dentix, scorpion fish, groupers, violet and pink nudibranches and the most famous dive in the whole Mediterranean – the statue ‘Il Christo Degli Abissi’ submerged in memory of scuba diving pioneer Dario Gonzatti.This dive has now become a symbol to memorise all those who explore and love the ocean is a must for all divers to visit at least once.You will be uplifted by the sheer beauty of this unique marine park which is studied by biologists and enjoyed by divers from all over the world. Luca Smecca who is a fluent English speaker and is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor heads up DWS and he and the rest of his crew look forward to diving with you. Established for over 15 years with a team who have between them more than 40 years of experience in the diving world and 10,000 dives in the marine park, DWS prides itself on its personal service, professionalism and warm, friendly atmosphere.Our philosophy is to share our passion for diving with you and always remember that you are on holiday and we want you to have fun with us and return often!Your safety, comfort and enjoyment is our priority.Our boat and equipment are constantly updated and well maintained. There are warm showers, nice music and as much tea and coffee as you want in the diving centre.There are so many things to do, places to eat and have fun in this wonderful region which offers so many different attractions and experiences both above and below the water for divers and non-divers. So please do check out some of our personal recommendations. DWS welcomes and can cater for dive clubs, groups, individual divers, families or students. So whether you are a complete beginner to the world of diving or you want to extend your training, we offer a full range of PADI courses, E-Learning and of course, individual dives or packages for those of you with many dives already under your belt!
